Gerstein Fisher seeds NYU-Poly internship grant program

The Gerstein Fisher Research Center has made a donation establishing the Research Internships Grant Fund for The Finance and Risk Engineering (FRE) program at Polytechnic Institute of New York University. The fund will provide grants to the top echelon of FRE students to work on research projects that bridge the gap between theory and practice in finance and financial engineering.

This donation was inspired in part by the success of Gerstein Fisher's own substantial internship program with masters students from NYU-Poly's FRE program, as well as our ongoing research collaboration with faculty members including Charles Tapiero and Philip Maymin. We are pleased to support NYU-Poly/FRE in its continued production of world-class, recognized research that has powerful and practical applications in the field of finance.
